ACCESS MSU allows the opportunity for high school students to experience a college environment. ACCESS MSU means access to classes, transferable college credits, computer labs, campus bookstore, library,
ACCESS MSU is intended for high school students interested in the challenge of college level coursework. Students may be able to use the credit earned toward high school graduation requirements as well as for college credit. Classes commonly taken by ACCESS MSU students include: Agape Christian School Home Schooling Families Archer City High School Iowa Park High School Bright Ideas Charter School Notre Dame High School Burkburnett High School Olney High School Byers High School Petrolia High School City View High School Rider High School Electra High School Walters High School Graham High School Waurika High School Henrietta High School Wichita Christian School Hirschi High School Wichita Falls High School Holliday High School Windthorst High School ACCESS MSU students are required to maintain good academic standing with the university and their high school. Students should be aware that taking college classes concurrently while in high school results in the establishment of a collegiate academic record and students earn a college grade point average. Students applying to other colleges/universities after graduation from high school must report college work attempted, hours earned, and grade point average. Students must submit an official MSU transcript to any institution where admission is sought. It is of the utmost importance to your academic future that you do your best in all college classes. Students should consult with their high school counselor, provide an official high school transcript, request official scores be sent to MSU by ACT or the College Board (SAT), and meet the Texas Success Initiative. Please note, MSU requires the writing portion of the ACT/SAT. Students will be required to take their courses on the MSU campus during the day or evening and will not be allowed to enroll in any distance or internet classes. A special admissions application is required for ACCESS MSU. Please do not submit the online (ApplyTexas) application for ACCESS MSU consideration.
