U.S. non-Texas residents can now pay a special tuition rate

MSU is one of the top 10 Least Expensive Public Colleges for Out-of-State Student, U.S. News and World Report

Each semester, over 6,400 students take advantage of the academic excellence at Midwestern State University. Most classes have fewer than 30 students enrolled, so professors can give you personal attention. We are proud of our 209 full-time faculty members who pursue research in their fields and become actively involved in the community.

Midwestern State University is located in Wichita Falls, Texas, midway between the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. With an approximate population of 107,000, Wichita Falls offers many activities and is home to several major industries and Sheppard Air Force Base.

Midwestern State University offers U.S. non-Texas residents a special tuition rate. Students who qualify will only pay $30 more per credit hour than a Texas resident.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING TEXAS SENATE BILL 1107
The Texas Legislature passed SB 1107, effective January 1, 2012, requiring all students under the age of 30 entering an institution of higher education in Texas to either receive a vaccination against bacterial meningitis or meet certain criteria to decline the vaccination before the first day of the semester.

MSU has contracted Magnus Health to collect, review and securely store all student documents pertaining to the meningitis vaccine.  You will need your Mustangs ID to log into your Magnus account through MSU's Web World.  Follow the link below for more information: http://registrar.mwsu.edu/prewebworld.asp
